Skotfoss Use the cradle of football
Football as a sport is created at Skotfoss
In connection with the construction of Skotfoss paper mills, skilled workers were brought in from Europe, including from England.
These took their national sport, which was football, with them, and introduced this to their work colleagues and to the local sports community.
This was the start-up of one of the earliest football environments in Norway, and led to the founding of the football club Odd.
